Lowesmoor traffic signal,Footway and Carriageway improvement works

Today we will be working with the contractor who is installing the new traffic lights on City Wall Road. There will be a lane closure on the inner lane as you go past the Cormarket this is so  new ducting can be laid in the road.
This week the old lights will be turned off with temporary traffic lights installed during the change over. The old poles will be removed and the new lights installed. We expect this changeover to take two to three days if all goes to plan.

Tomorrow we will be working outside "Tilleys" sandwich shop at the Pheasant Street end of Lowesmoor installing a chamber box for the traffic lights and ducting to the footway.

We thank you for your patience and understanding whilst this work is being carried out.

Our Liaison Officer Terry Godwin will be regularly available on site in Lowesmoor during the works to listen to any concerns or issues.

We will be updating this blog on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) so please ensure you visit regularly for updates on the progression of this scheme.  Information on our other road works throughout the County of Worcestershire can be found on our Twitter feed. www.twitter.com/roadworks_info
