Today we will be working at the entrance to Lowesmoor Wharf again installing ducting for the controller box and feeder pillers. We will carry this out doing one half of the road at a time to allow access to traffic at all times. We will also be working outside the Pig & Drum Public House gullies are being put in. This will be carried out with give and take traffic management to cause the least distruption to traffic.
On the 26th April until the 2nd May 2013, traffic will not be allowed to enter Lowesmoor from the Pheasant Street end. Deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from the City Walls Road end.
On the 3rd May for approximately 18 weeks, Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from the City Walls Road end. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street. A utility company will be setting up this road closure on Friday 3rd May, and we will take over the road closure after they have completed their works.
We thankyou for your patience and understanding whilst this work is being carried out. The Public Liaison Officer for this scheme is Terry Godwin who will be on site regularly throughout the works, he will be able to answer any queries that you may have. We can also be contacted on our Customer Care Line 01905 761176, or by email roadworks.info@ringway.co.uk
