Lowesmoor traffic signal, footway and carriageway improvement scheme

The works being carried out today consist of planing off the footway surface around Silver Street car park. To allow these works to take place, Silver Street car park will be closed till midday. A lane closure will also be in place on City Walls Road, this closure will be removed before the end of the day.

The works scheduled for tomorrow will be to relay the footway surface course around Silver Street car park. We will not be closing the car park to vehicular traffic, however the lane closure on City Walls Road will be reinstated; again the lane closure will be removed before the end of the day.

Works scheduled for Friday, will consist of footway works in the vicinity of Tilley's and the private shop.
