Lowesmoor traffic signal, footway and carriageway improvement works

Our schedule of works for today is continuing the installation of the fluted channels into the footways, finishing the bollard installation by the crossing point and filling in the church cellar.

Tomorrow we plan to lay the footway wearing course between the private shop to the crossing point.

Friday we plan to lay the footway wearing course between the crossing point and Tillys.
 
Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from City Walls Road end of Lowesmoor. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street. This closure will last for the whole of Phase 3 of the improvement works.

Our schedule of works for today is to excavate and laying the base course in the footway from Tip Toes to the Brewery Tap Pub and to reinstate a section of the carriageway outside the computer shop.

Tomorrow, we plan to install the radius kerbs by the Silver Street junction and starting the installation of the litter bins throughout the site

The programme of works for today are to install aqua kerbs in the footway from the Portugese Cafe up to the One Stop Shop.

Our plan for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is to excavate the footway and lay the basecourse from Silver Street to Pheasant Street.

Monday we will be installing aqua drains in the kerbs by the crossing.

Today's programme of works consists of excavting the kerb trench from the vacinity of Silver Street to the crossing point on Lowesmoor. Please note, currently an abandoned car is causing us issues, which we hope to resolve shortly.

Lowesmoor traffic signal, footway and carriageway improvement works

Today we will be sawing the back of the kerbs from Silver Street to Pheasant Street in preparation for removal of the kerbing next week. Also laying tactiles by A V Bands.
 
Monday we will be starting to excavate the kerb trench, starting at Silver Street working towards Pheasant Street.
 
The works are on programme and due to be completed by October 2013 unless delayed by unforseen circumstances.
