Lowesmoor Traffic signal, footway and carriageway improvement works

Today we will be completing Phase 2 of the improvement works. We will be working at Lowesmoor Wharf  by completing the installation of a Traffic light loop.  We will also continue with drainage work outside the entrance to Asda.  This will be carried out under a one way inbound traffic management ( closure to outbound vehicles).

From tonight traffic will be allowed to enter Lowesmoor from the Pheasant Street end.

Today Friday 3rd May,2013  for approximately 18 weeks, Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from the City Walls Road End. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street. A utility company will be setting up this road closure on Friday 3rd May, 2013. This will be taken off and road re-opened tomorrow evening and over the bank holiday weekend with the closure being put back in place on Tuesday 7th May, 2013.
