Lowesmoor Traffic signal, footway and carriageway improvement works

Today we will be removing the traffic island outside "American Golf" to allow traffic to flow more freely during the improvement works. We will also be carrying out works to the gullies outside "Brewery Tap" public House.

Tomorrow we will be removing the traffic island outside "Tilleys" sandwich shop.

Until Thursday 2nd May 2013, traffic will not be allowed to enter Lowesmoor from the Pheasant Street end. Deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from the City Walls Road end.

On the 3rd May for approximately 18 weeks, Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from the City Walls Road end. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street. A utility company will be setting up this road closure on Friday 3rd May, and we will take over the road closure after they have completed their works.
