Lowesmoor Traffic signal,footway and carriageway improvement works

Today we will be excavating and laying kerbs across the second half of the Wharf entrance and will be barriering it off over the weekend to allow the concrete to cure.

We will be removing approximatly 8 panels of visibility rail in preperation for digging out & resurfacing next week.

On Monday we will be excavating & laying base course material on the splitter island at the silver street junction.



Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from the City Walls Road end. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street. This closure will last for the whole of Phase 3 of the improvement works.

Today we will be laying kerbs from the Cooperative Funeral Parlour and Fat Boy Trims.

Tomorrow we will be laying kerbs from the Cooperative Funeral Parlour and Fat Boy Trims.

Today we will be  excavating the footway and laying base course from Welcome Chinese to the Cooperative Funeral Parlour entrance.
The Traffic Lights are being reprogrammed.

On Sunday 26th May we will be cutting loops in the carriageway by American Golf and Eagle Place.

On Tuesday 28th May we will be laying kerbing across the vehicular crossing to the Wharf entrance.

Tomorrow we will be  excavating the footway and laying base course from Welcome Chinese to Cooperatvie Funeral Parlour.
The temporary Traffic Lights have now been removed, with the normal traffic lights in operation.

Early this morning we reinstated the kerbing round the bends and the Co-Operative Funeral Services. There will be access to vehicle entrance of this at all times.

Today we will be  excavating the footway and laying base course from" Harvey Smith " Butchers to Halal Meats.

Tomorrow we will be be excavating the footway and laying base course from Halal Meats to Worcester Reptiles.

Today we will be installing the new kerb stones from "DNA" nightclub and "Welcome" Chinese Take-away Restaurant. The drainage works will continue to take place by the crossing point outside the Charity Shop in the middle of Lowesmoor.

Phase 3 of the improvement works started yesterday and will last for approximately 18 weeks, Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from the City Walls Road end. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street.

Lowesmoor Traffic signal,footway and carriageway improvement works

Today we will be completing Phase 2 of the improvement works. We will be working at Lowesmoor Wharf  by completing the installation of a Traffic light loop.  We will also continue with drainage work outside the entrance to Asda.  This will be carried out under a one way inbound traffic management ( closure to outbound vehicles).
 
From tonight traffic will be allowed to enter Lowesmoor from the Pheasant Street end.
 

Today Friday 3rd May,2013  for approximately 18 weeks, Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from the City Walls Road End. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street. A utility company will be setting up this road closure on Friday 3rd May, 2013. This will be taken off and road re-opened tomorrow evening and over the bank holiday weekend with the closure being put back in place on Tuesday 7th May, 2013.

Today we will be removing the traffic island outside "Tilleys" sandwich shop. This is to ease traffic congestion whilst works are being carried out.

We will also be carrying out some drainage work outside the entrance to Asda.  This will be carried out under give and take traffic management.

From tonight traffic will be allowed to enter Lowesmoor from the Pheasant Street end.


Tomorrow Friday 3rd May,2013  for approximately 18 weeks, Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from the City Walls Road End. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street. A utility company will be setting up this road closure on Friday 3rd May, 2013.  Today we will be removing the traffic island outside "American Golf" to allow traffic to flow more freely during the improvement works. We will also be carrying out works to the gullies outside "Brewery Tap" public House.
 
Tomorrow we will be removing the traffic island outside "Tilleys" sandwich shop.
 

Until Thursday 2nd May 2013, traffic will not be allowed to enter Lowesmoor from the Pheasant Street end. Deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from the City Walls Road end.

On the 3rd May for approximately 18 weeks, Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from the City Walls Road end. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street. A utility company will be setting up this road closure on Friday 3rd May, and we will take over the road closure after they have completed their works.
