The barrier replacement on City Walls Road has been completed and lane closure is removed.

Today we are painting existing posts along City Walls Road and replacing damaged tactiles by Silver Street Carpark.

This evening we will be re-instating the junction road markings in Lowesmore.

We will be continuing the barrier replacement on City Walls Road. This work and lane closure to the outside lanes in both directions will be completed by the end of September.

Lowesmoor traffic signal, footway and carriageway improvement scheme

Today there will be lane closures on the city Walls Road (outside lanes in both directions) for excavating in preparation of the barrier replacements on the central reservation next week.

Due to adverse weather conditions, we are unable to carry out the laying of the red skid resistant dressing. This will now go ahead on Sunday 16:00-00:00 at the crossing point and at the City Walls Road end

Lowesmoor traffic signal, footway and carriageway improvement scheme

Today will be a continuation of this weeks work of raising ironworks and Carriageway Resurfacing throughout Lowesmore. There will be Temporary Traffic Lights in place on Pheasant Street at the junction of Lowesmore.
 
Due to delays in material delivery the programme for today is running approximately 90 minutes later than the time advised yesterday.
The final surface will be laid on the carriageway starting at Pheasant Street end working towards City Walls Road end.
Tomorrow we plan to lay the red skid resistant dressing to the crossing point and at the City Walls Road end, subject to weather conditions.

Lowesmoor traffic signal, footway and carriageway improvement scheme

Today will be a continuation of this weeks work of raising ironworks and Carriageway Resurfacing throughout Lowesmore. There will be Temporary Traffic Lights in place on Pheasant Street at the junction of Lowesmore.

Tomorrow we plan to lay the final carriageway surface. We will start at Pheasant Street end at 7:30am. Between 7:30-9:30, all access/egress to the Wharf complex will be from City Walls Road end.

Between 9:30-10:30 no access/egress to the wharf complex will be permitted due to the surface being laid and being allowed to cool off before it can be taffiked.

After 10:30, access/egress to the Wharf complex will be via Pheasant Street whilst we resurface the remainder of Lowesmoor.
