Lowesmoor Traffic signal,footway and carriageway improvement works

Today we will be laying the wearing course on the splitter island outside A V Bands and under the Gas Board lane closure. Also laying tactile slabs and fluted channels on the footway through the north side of Lowesmoor.

Tomorrow we will be excavating the footway between the Co-Op Funeral Parlour and Headway. We will also be laying basecourse and fluted channels on the footway.





Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from the City Walls Road end. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street. This closure will last for the whole of Phase 3 of the improvement works.
