Lowesmoor traffic signal, footway and carriageway improvement works

Our works planned for today, Friday 28th June, are to lay block paving on the footway between the Wharf entrance and the butchers. Our intention is to completion this section, subject to weather conditions, today.

On Monday 1st July, we plan to excavate the footway and lay the basecourse material between Headway Charity shop and the traffic lights at City Walls road.



Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from the City Walls Road end of Lowesmoor. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street. This closure will last for the whole of Phase 3 of the improvement works.

Today we will be resurfacing the footway from the Wharf entrance to Vesta Tilly House and block paving the footway between Belle Fluer Florists and the Wharf entrance.
 
Tomorrow we will be excavating & block paving the footway from the Wharf entrance to H Smith Butchers and starting to brick up the cellar in Pentacostal Church House.


Lowesmoor will be closed to traffic who wish to enter from the City Walls Road end. All deliveries and access to Lowesmoor will have to follow a diversion route which will allow access from Pheasant Street. This closure will last for the whole of Phase 3 of the improvement works.

Today we will be prepairing the footway from the Wharf entrance to Vesta Tilly House for resurfacing. We are awaiting an inspection of the carriageway prior to complete the temporary reinstatement being carried out.

Today we will be laying Aqua kerbs outside Vesta Tilly House and preparing the footpath on the north side for resurfacing.

Tomorrow we will be planing the carriageway dow to the foundations from the crossing to Portuguese Breakfast. Also excavating and reinstating the entrance to the Wharf Industrial Estate.

Today we will be reintating by the zebra crossing in the centre of Lowesmoor due to a water leak found yesterday awaiting repairs from Sveren Trent.

Tomorrow we wil be installing flutted drainage channels in the footway on the North Side of Lowesmoor and installing radius curves into the entrance of the Wharf.
